HYBRID POWER SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED WORKS PROJECT

NiuSky Pacific Ltd. abbreviated NSPL (formerly known as PNG Air Services Ltd) is a State Aviation Entity (SAE) and Papua New Guinea’s only Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP). We manage all aircraft movements within and through PNG’s designated airspace which spans approximately 1.6 million square kilometers through our Air Traffic Management service. In order for NSPL to maintain safety for all aircraft operations within our airspace, we embarked on a robust Modernisation Program to upgrade all our aeronautical radio Communication, Navigation, Surveillance and Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) systems and infrastructure. As part of this endeavor, NSPL intends to improve its current VHF Communication Coverage and service availability with the deployment/upgrade of a number of VHF Communication sites under the VHF Improvement Program. NSPL hereby invites bidders to submit bids for the Hybrid Power System and Associated Works Project. General Scope of Works includes the design, supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a Solar and Wind Hybrid Power System at four (4) of NSPL’s VHF sites around PNG. All information (i.e., Tender documents) pertaining to this project will be provided upon request to the project sponsors whose contact details are provided under the Submission Details below. Due to the nature of the works under this project, please draw your attention to the draft Contract which will be included as part of the Tender Documents. This includes insurance and securities which will be provided upon request. There will also be a site visit organised at each of the four (4) project sites namely Mt. Lunaman (Lae), Mt. Dahaluba (Milne Bay), Vanimo and Daru between 12 – 23 July, 2021.
