The 14th of March marks another significant milestone for NiuSky Pacific Ltd as a training agreement between Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) was signed to further boost its human resource capacity building.
The training agreement was signed by the NSPL Managing Director /Chief Executive Officer, Capt. Ted Pakii and CAAS Director-General, Mr. Kevin Shum at the Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA) in Madrid Spain with the aim to upskill NSPL personnel as outlined below.
- The purpose of this Agreement is to establish general working arrangements between the Parties, to facilitate training and professional development programmes delivered by SAA for NSPL on a fee basis, on the basis of mutual agreement.
- NSPL shall engage SAA to conduct the training programmes set out in the Training Agreement.
- The Training Programmes will primarily be targeted at the human resource capacity development of civil aviation personnel from NSPL, and where appropriate, may be made available to the wider civil aviation sector of Papua New Guinea
The two parties draw a common interest in advancing aviation human resource development through training, building on the cordial aviation relations between CAAS and NSPL.
